Prizewinner of different international Singing Competitions.

Ayumi was born in Tokyo, Japan.

She started taking piano lessons at the early age of 3 years old and then singing at the age of 16.

She studied at the Tokyo University of Music (Tokyo Ongaku Daigaku) where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in 2008 and a master’s degree in 2010.

Between 2012 and 2014 she studied at Opera Studio Foundation Tokyo Nikikai Opera, where she participated in several concerts for selected students and played the role of Nedda of opera “Pagliacci” (replacement) of Leoncavallo as one of the five most promising young singers of her generation.

She has participated at several competitions in Japan and Paris and she has won many prizes and distinctions, specially the second prize at the Tama Fresh Competition in 2011.

She came to Paris in 2014 to continue her vocal education with Nathalie Spinosi at La Schola Cantorum de Paris, where she also studies chamber music with Alain Damiens.

Since 2015 she places contemporary music as her priority and

she forms Duo Mutis with Alvaro Zegers.

In 2016 she participated in the Ensemble-Akademie Freiburg where she was selected to play in two of the final concerts.
