Mira Marchenko – piano (Russia)

In 1973 she became a student of the CMS which she finished in 1981. Her teacher was A. Bakulov, the student of H. Neuhaus. In 1986 she graduated from Moscow Conservatory, in 1989 she finished her postgraduate studies there. She is the successor and continuer of the great Russian piano school´s traditions.

 

M. Marchenko is a laureate of P. Vladigerov International piano competition (Bulgaria), a laureate of the International Piano competition in London, the holder of the special prize for outstanding achievements in pedagogical activity, has a diploma of  F. Busoni International piano competition, the diploma of S. Rachmaninoff International competition.

Repeatedly she was a participant of major international festivals: Hungary – 1982, USA – 1988, Spain – 1990, Ukraine – 2008, Lithuania – 2009-2010, Finland – 2009, Estonia – 2015, China – 2015, etc.

The repertoire of numerous concerts, which gives Miroslava Marchenko, includes a wide range of musical and historical heritage – from Baroque to modern times.

Since 1986 M. Marchenko has been a teacher of special piano in the Central Music School at Moscow State Conservatory, she holds master-classes in Russia and abroad.

She is a permanent member of the jury of the International competitions in the framework of the Association «Art and Education of the XXI century» and others, actively participates in the work of international forums: she holds master-classes for students and teachers and concerts of masters of arts, she is also an organizer of a large number of concerts for the students of the Central Music School. She actively cooperates with the charitable “New Names” foundation under the Denis Matsuev guidance and Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation.

Among her students there are a lot of winners of various international contests.

In 2009 she got a certificate of appreciation from the Minister of Culture of Russia for the great contribution to the development of the culture and for many years of fruitful work.

In 2013 she became a winner of the All-Russian contest "The best teacher of Children´s Arts Schools". 

Since 2016 Mira Marchenko is a Head of the Special Piano Department in the Central Music School at Moscow State Conservatory.
