Riccardo Marini-  piano (Rome, Italy

Head of the Department of Special Piano,
Coordinator of the keyboards department at the Conservatory “Santa Cecilia” in Rome
Born in Rome, he graduated from the Conservatory “Santa Cecilia” , studied with Humberto de Margheriti and at the same time from the math faculty of the Roman University. He obtained  PhD in piano with Sergio Pertikaroli , in chamber music  with Antonio Bakelli . Makes wide concert activity performing as a soloist, with orchestras and different chamber ensembles in Italy and Europe with an extensive repertoire ranging from Bach to composers of XX century :
 Brahms, concert with orchestra № 2 with the Symphony Orchestra of Perugia ,
 Beethoven , Sonata. 106 “Hammerklavier”,
Tchaikovsky Grand Sonata in G Major,
Debussy, “Images”, “Prelude”.
In its active there are records on CD , on television and on the radio for RAI.
He makes lectures and seminars on the relations between music and mathematics .
Actively engages in teaching activity . He is professor and the head of the special piano department at the Conservatory “S. Cecilia” in Rome.
Prior to that for 27 years he held the same position at the Conservatory of Perugia .
His students often receive awards at national and international competitions .
From 1989 to 1999, guided the specialization course of piano at the International courses in Norcia .
S1984 to 1997 was director of the Municipal School of Music in Celleno .
 From 1987 to 1996 held the same place the annual course on the performance of t concertos for piano and orchestra .
Is a jury member of various national and international competitions. Responsible for the arts sector in the municipality of Viterbo from 1979 to 1997
In 1998 he won the competition for the post of artistic coordinator of the local municipal school of music .
Since 1999 – the artistic director of the prestigious festival “Baroque” . Helped to restore unpublished repertoire of Italian instrumental music , opera and oratorios 6 – ‘700 , organizing their first modern performance , record them on CD , as well as conferences and meetings of the leading theorists of the world on their study, followed by the publication of research.
The result of his many-sided activity was to study the technical and interpretational aspects of musical repertoire from the XVII century to contemporary.
He founded the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Viterbo acting since 1999 to 2005 , involving such prestigious conductors as Franco Petrakki Massimo Pradella , Pedro I. Calderon. Among the concerts of this orchestra – Four orchestral suite by Bach , performed in 2000 in Italy and Germany to the 250 anniversary of Bach’s death .
Founder and leader of the baroque ensemble of Tuscia with the  debut in February 2007 in Monaco of Bavaria.
From 2011, he is also a coordinator of the Keyboard department of the Conservatory “Santa Cecilia”.
